Php / cURL / Facebook - Function Download Image on Server

I have a small Php / MySQL / Javascript website that leverages Facebook API, i.e. users can create an account on my website using their Facebook login. I need a PhP / Curl / Facebook-api developer who could write for me a php function that would download Facebook profile picture like this one : [login to view URL] and download it into a folder on my website folder (preferably using cURL but I'm open to better alternative if you can explain to me why they would be better than cURL). This small project will be over when the script will be running on my server (a VPS). Therefore you will need to be explicit about any admin setting (if any) required to make your function work properly. This is an urgent project.
