I had a sitemap file creator coded for me a while back in PHP, but the coder went missing with the last few minor tweaks to finish.
The sitemap file creator is a stand alone script that generates sitemap files from a LIST OF KEYWORDS IN A TEXT FILE and creates the sitemaps according to parameters selected. The problem is that if the keyword list in the text file is too big it doesn't work (e.g 100,000's of keywords) as there are memory problems. I originally highlighted this with the coder and his reply was:
"Right now it tries to open the whole keyword file at once for processing. I'll have to get it to only open up a bit at a time, easy enough. That should fix this."
So hopefully that's straight forward for somebody who knows what their doing?
The second thing I need tweaking is when using the script to initially create the sitemap, there is a function to add a 'from' date, but all of the sitemap posts are posted on the selected date when they should be randomly spread out between the date I enter in the script and the present date. Again, hopefully this is a minor adjustment..
Please let me know if you need any further information before bidding. I imagine it is quite an easy job to complete, but I'm no coder.
The coder I had previously was VERY good with PHP, but I have noticed that no comments have been made to the existing code, so I recommend only highly skilled PHP programmers bid please.

Hi sir, Fix that issue is simple: instead of use flat file for the storage, rewrite your script to allow compressed sitemaps according to the standard. have a great day Alex
