Project Description

We are in the process on converting a clients web site from an [url removed, login to view] site to a PHP / Joomla web site. The existing site has an email submission form that would email the submission to the client. We have kept the css style sheet and tags, but we need to have someone edit the code so that we can utilize the code from mail chimp (Mail chimp is an email list service provider).

We have it to the point that the style tags have been placed in the style sheet. Everything looks good, but we need to change the code so that is will properly add the users email address to the proper list.

Here is what we have right now (non working form):

<div class="callout"><form action="#"> <fieldset>

<h2 class="mail-heading">Stay in the Know</h2>

<strong class="inptext"> <span> <input id="ctl00_contentCallout_callout_maillist_txtEmailSub" name="ctl00$contentCallout$callout_maillist$txtEmailSub" type="text" value="name" /> </span> </strong> <a class="mail-link" href="javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$contentCallout$callout_maillist$btnSend','')">Enter</a></div>

<p id="confirm-email">Enter your email to be the first to get news on new products and special offers.</p>

</fieldset> </form>

Here is what we were given from mail chimp: (We need to have this code stripped down to work with the style and code from above):

There are several instances of this form with various list, but if you can complete the one form, we should be able to handle it from there. Additional work may come from this small job if you can turn it quickly.
