Project Description

Attention Alteta from Linux Masters or anybody who is very capable and proficient with Linux, writing perl code and GNUPGP encryption.

We have a small 2 cgi script and 1 config file system that encrypts patient information from them entering it into a clinic's webform using GnuPGP. Each clinic/health organisation has a separate page on our system to collect patient information securely. The clinic logs in and decrypts the data and collects the patient information then closes the page where the data is deleted from our server.

The encryption keys are created in cPanel's GnUPG Keys system to enable all this to happen.

The system has worked well with gpg (GnuPG) 1.4.5 but we are moving to a new cpanel server with gpg (GnuPG) [url removed, login to view] and now the program has stopped decrypting the information. It seems to still encrypt it OK. It could be nothing more than a syntax issue.

The first part of this job is to get the program decrypting the data again and deleting it once it is retrieved (which is deleted from clicking on a link on the retrieval page).

The second part of the job is to change where the encrypted data is saved while it awaits retrieval. We now need it saved to a second server of ours because the encrypted data can't be on the same public web server as our application. And then when a clinic logs in to retrieve this information that data is retrieved from the second server and decrypted and then deleted upon the clinic clicking on "delete information".

It is important this is handled by someone who knows the importance of security and knows how to write for gnuPGP and perl on a cpanel/linux server please . Please contact us for more details if interested.

Thank you
