Hey Scriptlance Users!
I've got a new project I'd like to get done this week. It involves modifying an existing classifieds cgi/perl script so that email addresses can be manually blocked from using a "reply to" form.
This should be an easy job for an accomplished cgi based programmer. Here is situation. Visitors to website can fill out "reply to" forms and send email to sellers of listed items. Too often those forms are filled out by scammers who cut and paste replies to all ads posted. I'd like the existing form modified to 1) check a text file database for banned addresses 2) block sending of email if address is detected.
No need to notify the sender with an "oops" message, want the form to display as if the email sent ok. You can check the link below (see link) to see how the form displays. Use "Reply To Ad" to test.
[url removed, login to view];AdNumber=18129
I'm pretty sure the file to be edited is a [url removed, login to view] file or [url removed, login to view] file and should be easy to modify. Server is linux.
I write great reviews and make payments promptly. I'll share the files with those contacting me via PMB and will provide access after I choose a bidder.
Expecting clean work that gets the job accomplished as described. THANKS!
