Project Budget$100 - $500 USD
This project should be pretty easy for someone that has strong skills with PERL, SQL and HTML.
(Even better if you have experience with affiliate software as well)
I have a (3rd party) affiliate management/tracking product that I need to have customized.
Currently it assumes all affiliates will be paid the same amount. I need to have the ability to customize the payout on a per affiliate basis. For example, let's say we pay a default commision of $10 per whatever. If I have a "super" affiliate that produces superior results, I would like to pay them more, such as $20 per widget.
There are three things that I would like to have done:
1) Add the ability to customize the payout on a per affiliate basis
2) Modify the software to allow multiple products?
3) Build in a scaling type commission scheme?
The first two should be fairly easy. The second, I’m not sure of the complexity.
If you have any experience with affiliate stuff then you should know exactly what I'm talking about here.
The code is all in PERL. There is a MySQL db for the backend, and a some custom HTML pages for the front-end. The module that processes recurring commissions is run as a cron job.
In order to make these modifications, you will need to place the software on a web server, where you have access to the cgi-bin and cron stuff. Additionally, you will need MySQL - and the ability to hack at the db.
After the mod's are made you will need to do a decent amount of testing to verify that everything is working as expected.
I'm willing to pay between $100 and $200 for this project, depending on quality and speed.
