Illustrations for Art and Music Project
- Status Closed
- Budget $10 - $15 USD
- Total Bids 7
This is an illustration project.
The total number of illustrations needed is about 35 to 40.
This bid is to quote a price for EACH illustration. So if someone bids $5, that would mean they would be willing to do each of the 40 illustrations for $5/each, for a total of $200. Same if you bid $7 or $15 or whatever. Bid for EACH illustration.
The illustrations will be created by the bidder from our notes and sketches - we have developed the original characters and we have developed the theme of each scene we need done. We are always open to input from the artist, but we have the general characters, scenes and themes for each illustration.
The main character is a young boy and girl whom are musicians. He plays the violin, she plays guitar. The principle scenes will contain the boy and his violin in various scenes, including some scenes with classic musicians such as Bach and Eastern musicians, too, like Ravi Shankar.
The scenes will be full, but will not have exceptional detail.
All 40 illustrations will be in full color at a size and resolution suitable for offset printing. We prefer Illustrator or CorelDraw files, but will consider any medium in which the artist chooses to work.
I may divide the work between more than one coder.
The copyright to all characters, scenes and associated images will remain our possession, the artist surrenders all rights to work done in association with this project.
To bid on this job, please include a price for each illustration and samples of your PAST work.

I have gotten many requests to describe scene for image so that coders may place proper bid. Here is main scene detail: (1) The main image is a young boy, about 9 years old, with a violin. (2) The boy should have a look of discovery and wonder in his eyes. (3) He should be posed at 15-degrees, which means slightly turned off center from the viewer. (4) Boy should be gazing at a point just above the horizon; not towards heaven, and not to an adult, but just above his own eye level. (5) His head should be just ever so slightly cocked to the side as if he is considering a great thought. (6) Violin should be in his left hand, held slightly away from his body, with his arm bent, and the violin just below his waist line, held about 30 cm from his body. (7) Bow will be in his right hand, also held away from his body, with bow pointing upwards, and his right arm bent upwards about 45 degrees. (8) Boy will have an innocent but mature face. (9) Boy's hair will be dark and curly, long to his collar, but not messy. (10) He will be wearing baggy pants. (11) His feet will be bare. (12) His shirt will be long sleeve western shirt with buttons and collar, but sleeves will be slightly rollled up and first two buttons will be undone. (13) Boy will be standing in clearing outside, with large rock to his right, behind him, and a large tree to the right of the rock, over his left shoulder one can see boy is standing on a hill, and in the distance is a city. (14) Sun will cast clear but not bold shadow and shadow will be long and to his left. (15) Boy will not be looking towards city, but to his right. (16) The boy should be well drawn with clear details, but still loose sketch. (17) Outdoor scene and hill and tree and rock and city in background need simple, simple detail, just basic forms.
Illustrator or CorelDraw or Photoshop or similar, but must be in a format editable by Buyer.Get free quotes for a project like this
