My experience as the director of engineering and as a mechanical engineer has required me to spend a lot of time not only getting to know the various products I am working with, but also finding suppliers and getting competitive pricing from manufacturers directly. For custom parts, a significant amount of time was also spend working with manufacturers to get production done right and to the specifications we need. I've worked with companies all over the world, but most have been in the US and in China. I also have personal connections to ZIPP, a US company that is a manufacturer of high performance bicycle parts. They primarily provide parts to the competitive bicycle racing market. Every part they make is primarily carbon fiber. I can work with you on this for either the bidded amount of 3000 or we can do a smaller amount, 1200-1800 and I take a percentage of the invoice of the purchased goods.
