I am looking for a VA who will work around 30 hours per week to start with. As I get to know the VA and see what they are capable I plan on increasing workload over time and hopefully get to a 40+ hours per week for the VA. I need a VA to primarily help me with my online business of selling silicone keypads. The VA will follow up with customers, send responses, ask customer for clarification, track customer inquiries, organize information and various other duties.

This is a technical position that will require learning of terms and learning. I am happy to teach this information but you have to want to learn it and know how to ask questions to learn it.

Here are some of the basic tasks and requirements:

Excellent natural English Grammar

Excellent natural written English skills

Setting up an Excel spreadsheet and entering information

Ability to understand technical terms and learn them

Tracking weekly position of keywords

Posting articles provided to you on locations I specify

Writing up invoices and quotes in Acrobat based on information I supply

Reading, understanding and replying to my customer inquires

Other projects will be asked of you

Located in the Philippines is preferred

My company deals with customers in the USA which means the hours worked need to be similar to "normal" business hours for a company in the USA. The preferred work hours would be: 7 am - 9 am PST and 2 PM - 4 PM PST Monday - Friday PST. This is when the customer contact will be done, hours can be worked outside of these times if more time is needed for the customer contact, other projects assigned can be worked on during hours of your choice.

After I receive enough applications I will sort through them and create a shortlist, interview those people and then hire two or three for a trial period. I will have the hired VA's do the same tasks so that I can compare their work. At the end of the trial period I will keep one VA on staff.

I REQUIRE someone with excellent written "natural" English. Someone who understands that details are important. Someone who cares about the success of my company who will find ways to help grow the company. The standard work that must get done can vary from 10 to 35 hours a week. What I want is a VA who will complete the 10-35 hours of work but then come up with ideas and projects that they propose to me to help increase business, if I like the idea I will approve it and they can work on that idea to fill up the rest of the hours (40+ hours).

4. Most of my customers are based in the USA and if they receive any correspondence that doesn't appear to be "natural" English they tend to be suspicious. Please provide a sample of your emails and a sample of a business letter that you have written showing your excellent grammar and natural English.
