Project Description

Our company is looking for someone to help rate the quality of various instructional web pages. For this project, you will be provided with a spreadsheet of URLs and you will be asked to rate each web page using the 1-5 quality rating scale defined below:

1 - Poor. An embarrassingly bad article. The information only contains the obvious and was clearly written with little time or effort. If you landed on this page you would almost certainly want to consult another resource to learn more:
2 - Internet average. Your classic 350-500 word instructional article. Articles like this might help you, but they might not. They are sufficiently helpful to be your only source about 50% of the time. They contain some useful, non-obvious information, but still leave you wanting more details, methods or authority:
3 - Above average - Might not be totally comprehensive, but contains enough helpful content to please the reader without needing other sources in ~75% of cases.
4 - Comprehensive, very helpful. Once you've read this page you would not need to visit other pages to get information:
5 - Excellent. Exceeds your expectations of what the Internet normally offers. Comprehensive information, attractively presented, possibly more information than you need.

Required Skills:
You need excellent judgment and a good general sense of the internet and the range of the quality of web pages. You must be able to quickly and accurately scan and analyze a high volume of web pages.

Highly Preferred: Experience as a Google Search Quality Rater or on a similar project with Lionbridge, Leapforce and Butler Hill.
