Editing scanned manuscript - fixing spelling errors due to text recognition - repost

A freelancer is required to edit copy of a manuscript that has been created using scan to text recognition. The copy must be edited so that it is identical to the original document, which is in PDF format.
The copy of the manuscript is in Rich Text Format (RTF) and contains many spelling errors, incorrect characters and inconsistencies compared to the original document because the font of the original document was difficult to read by the text recognition, and some words and characters have been categorized by the text recognition.
We require a copy of the manuscript, error free, readable MS Word.
I will supply the successful freelancer with the copy of the manuscript together with the original PDF.
Current word count for the RTF document is 65 pages, 37,868 words, 154,997 characters. This will obviously change when editing is complete as the word count will decrease as incorrect characters are corrected.Get free quotes for a project like this
