My current editor has become swamped with work (not to mention working on her own novel) and so I am looking for someone (perhaps on a regular basis) to edit/proofread my books. The book I have in mind for this project is a paranormal erotic romance novelette (vampires) with a length of approx 16,500 words. What I need is someone to polish the books, correct spelling/grammar errors and simply bring to my attention anything within the story that seems out of place or doesn't work.
As I already mentioned earlier, if this project works out well then there are many more to come so there is something I need to mention now... While most of my work is erotic romance I am just beginning to work my way into hardcore BDSM. My editor edited the last BDSM book, but she is not comfortable with hardcore BDSM erotica and the genre isn't something she is familiar with. So I would really like to have someone who is familiar with the BDSM subgenres of erotica, because I will need someone to take on all the BDSM stories I produce. Depending on how my readers like the book that was released today, I may or may not be writing more of them. Rest assured that while most of my stories are taboo in nature, they are not excessively crass or vulgar.
So, to recap..
What I need:
- Someone who is familiar with BDSM erotica and would be interested in establishing a ongoing relationship, if the first project works well for both of us.
- Polishing of books and checking for typos, grammer etc.
- A fairly good turnaround time. Perhaps within a week. All of my works are shorter in length usually between 10k and 20k. I normally put out four books a month.
- Native english speaker.
- When posting a bid please quote me a per 500 word price along with the total.

Hi, Though you are not clear how many books have to be edited/proofreader, I have placed my bid for a minimum amount. Would like to hear from you more in detail so that we can fix on the payment. Thanks.
Experienced web writer, self-published novelist. Having editing and proof-reading experience for website I work for. Not bothered by the nature of the books - I've written erotica myself.
