Fluent/native speaking English readers and writers ONLY

Please do not bid if you are not fluent, you're wasting your time!

Are you native English speaking (as in fluent in English - it's your first language) ?

Do you consider yourself an extremely good writer?

If you answered yes to both of these, I may be able to offer you a part time position as an editor. I have several full time writers, and because they are not native english speaking, their work always needs reading through and editing, to make it read properly, etc.

So, basically I need someone to proof read and edit about 100 articles (including other types of written content - not in the traditional article format) per week, and bring them up to scratch, so that they are good quality for putting on my websites, etc.

This would probably be like 1 day a week. I am willing to pay a decent rate if I can find someone to make sure these articles are fixed up to be decent quality. The time it takes to do all this work each week is something we'll figure out as we go along.

Because I need someone very good at editing, and bringing up the standard of these articles etc, I am willing to pay anywhere between $8 - $11 per hour to the successful applicant.

This position will likely open up to a full time position within the next year.

I also want you to be great at following instructions, and especially via video training, as that's how I teach the processes you will be learning, should you get the position.

Also, please understand that this job requires someone who is willing to do proofreading/editing for other types of content, not just traditional articles. Mostly this means sentence rewrites, but you'll learn about how this works if you are moved forward in the sourcing process.

Please PM me with a few samples of your writing quality, and begin your PM with the phrase "best proof", just so I know who has actually read all of the instructions.
