Implement and audio protocol between a desktop and mobile devices

Project Descritpion:

This project aims to implement an audio protocol to transmit a short code (a few characters long) emmited by a computer (aka host) to a mobile device (aka client) preferably using high-frequencies unaudible by humans.

Candidates MUST HAVE previous experience with DSP and data transmission using audio protocols.

# Host side

On the host side any language can be used (pyhton, c, c++)

The executable must be a command line program for debian-linux OS, taking the shortcode from the provided input arguments and the output would be either the computer speaker or an WAV audio file.

# Client side

the app must be an android app.

It would have a listen button that, when pressed would open the devices mic and listen for the audio, decoding the shortcode and displaying the result in a label.

For this project we require an NDA agreement between all parties.

Deliverables would be:

1) Complete and fully-functional working programs in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Documentation detailing the designed protocol for encoding and decoding.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
