Project Description

we have the OpenERP software loaded on a Linux Debian webserver VM and want to create a fast order picking solution for the warehouse. We have the Motorola CE handheld scanners and need an application to integrate with the webserver via WAN.

we need a GUI with login then 11 options from main main page:
SCAN - shows details relating to scanned value (SKU or Sales Order or Purchase Order)
REGISTER - enter a SKU value, qty and location to add more stock to the inventory
MOVE - enter a location then select a SKU and quantity, then enter the new location
REMOVE - enter a SKU value, qty and location to reduce stock from the inventory
STOCK TAKE - enter bin location, enter SKU, enter quantity and inventory is overwritten with new stock quantity
PICK - orders are assigned to user via openerp. when same user logged into handheld they can see orders to pick. prompted to select order, goto location and enter location, enter SKU and qnty then confirm. order is then either picked or user prompted to pick next line of order.
DESPATCH - view fully allocated orders in picked status. select and order to despatch, confirm pack and print shipping label
RECEIVE - view open purchase orders list. select or search purchase order number. option to print all SKUs on the PO as label barcodes. enter each SKU and qty received. if SKU is not on PO alert the user. allocate all new stock to open sales orders.
LINK PRINTER - print from web feature so local networked printers can print from handheld or openErp in browser
PUT AWAY - products that have been received from a PO and are in location 'goods in' can be moved to another location. filter by 'on open sales order' to leave items in 'goods in' if bought to fulfil backorder. enter SKU and user is shown recenet locations for the SKU. user selects a previous location or enters a new location.
