I have a program thats 99% done, except for one button click. Its written in Python/COM Interface so you have to use one of those languages.
This program was created to auto buy certain items from amazon.com. [url removed, login to view] displays a warning when you try to place a duplicate order and we need to click the "place duplicate order" button. The problem is that the same code that was working for all the other amazon buttons, does not work on this page, and instead sends you back to the page you were viewing before (the place your order page)
This code does NOT work for some reason
for creating internet explorer object
ie=[url removed, login to view]('[url removed, login to view]')
find button and execute "click"
[url removed, login to view] ('forcePlaceOrder').click()
Programming language "Python" but it doesn't metter. (it's just COM interface)
Here is part of the HTML from the duplicate order page
<form method="POST" action="/gp/checkout/duplicate-order/select.html/102-9927819-2125755" onSubmit="return(doubleClickPrevention_onSubmit());" >
<input type="hidden" name="purchaseTotal" value="18.36" / >
<input type="hidden" name="purchaseTotalCurrency" value="USD" / >
<tr><td><b>Please choose one:</b></td></tr>
<tr><td align="center"><input type="image" src="https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/G/01/x-locale/checkout/duplicate-order/place-this-duplicate-order.gif" width="225" align="absmiddle" alt="Place your order" value="Place Your Order" name="forcePlaceOrder" height="25" border="0" /></td></tr>
<tr><td align="center" class="tiny">or</td></tr>
<input type="image" src="https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/G/01/x-locale/checkout/duplicate-order/cancel-this-duplicate-order.gif" width="225" align="absmiddle" alt="Cancel this duplicate order" value="Cancel this duplicate order" name="cancelOrder" height="25" border="0" />
<tr><td align="center" class="tiny">(Your original order will still be shipped; we'll take you to Your Account to view your order history)</td></tr>
You need to find a way to click the forceplaceorder button.
Someone else has the same problem and the discussion can be found here
