I have a single directory with ~179,000 files in it.
All of the files follow this format: - - (I put spaces in for clarity, they don't exist in actual file name).
Most often will be formatted like this: first-last like Bill Gates
Other times it will just be a single word: Pepsi
will ALWAYS be "Fyrt" and it will ALWAYS be present as part of the creating software's tagger.
will also ALWAYS be present and are random from 1 - 7 digits
an example file name is: Free-Lancer-Fyrt-1234567
I want a python script that when placed into the directory will scan all the file names then create and move files into their own folder using the file name up to "Fyrt". So using our example file name from before; Free-Lancer-Fyrt-1234567 the resulting output will be a folder called "Free-Lancer". There will be files that need to go into the same directory for example: Free-Lancer-Fyrt-1234567, Free-Lancer-Fyrt-1234568, Free-Lancer-Fyrt-1234569, Free-Lancer-Fyrt-1234570, will all go into the same "Free-Lancer" directory. The output directory for the folders should be the parent directory, so if the files are in the "Foo" directory our new folders path would be Foo/Free-Lancer.
