I'm doing animation with at least 10 different files in Maya. My problem is, most of my files would take more that 1 minute but less than 2 minutes. That means for a '1 minute and 40 seconds file', it's 2,400 frames. I'm not sure if my machine can take the rendering as I haven't done it yet.
So for this project, I actually want to post this so I can ask potential freelancer who I could work on after my animation files are done, if, it's possible that I'll just give my Maya files and the freelancer would do all the renderings for me, in .mov files quicktime. Just render the maya files, and nothing else.
I posted this also, so I'd know how to plan my animation prior to production. As I'm worried that after I'd animate 2,000 plus frames, and only to find out that it's not possible to be rendered.
Each scene is continuous so I couldn't cut the conversation in between. Now, I'm torn between conversation vs number of frames. But I prefer the first, if it's doable.
I'm new to rendering so I don't know how to go about this. I'd appreciate that I could communicate with the freelancer first on private messages here before committing the project. If things would get into agreement, I'd appreciate a constant communication with the freelancer here.
If this is possible, rendering project would probably start early next year, in January, and will sign NDA.

Well it seems like its just a overnight render. :) We are a animation studio and have around 10 workstation . config i7, 8-16 gig ram 1600 fsb . gtx 560-660 graphic cards .. Let me know if interested .
