DRS Commodities is an industry leading search consultancy specialising in the Technical and Commercial Commodities sector. Headquartered on London’s Pall Mall, we handle appointments in key Commodities including Oil & Gas and Metals & Mining. We operate from Intermediate through to Senior Management and Board level, working alongside clients ranging from Major Energy companies, Blue Chip professional services companies and bulge bracket Investment Banks.


We are currently extending our network of New Business Associates. Successful applicants will be responsible for new business development and client account management across the commodities sector.

New Business Associates will be responsible for:

? New client business development to establish hiring requirements

? Management of existing client relationships to secure hiring requirements

? Negotiation of engagement terms and conditions

? Outlining of detailed client hiring mandates

? Client meeting arrangement

? Proactive client engagement via bespoke DRS online networks

? Client database management

? Meeting targets and management reporting

Experience required:

? Solid background in a sales-focused environment, preferably with knowledge of the recruitment / HR sector

? Demonstrated track record in sales / new business development / account management

? Strong client communication / negotiation skills

? Target driven

? Disciplined, diligent and self motivated work ethic

? Project commitment /reliability

? Ability to build staff rapport


? Standard rate of £10 per hour

? Additional commission incentives based on client engagement secured, ranging from £200-£1,000 per contract


New Business Associates are employed on a Contract basis, dependent on company BD requirements and the New Business Associates previous competencies in undertaking DRS business development assignments. In order to register on the DRS Consultant network, New Business Associates are required to undertake an online training programme. On successful completion, New Business Associates will be eligible for assignment to DRS business development campaigns.


The DRS online training programme includes:

? An Overview of Business Development within the Recruitment sector

? An Overview of the Commodities sector

? A full outline of the DRS Business Development process
