Project Description

The project would involve the implementation of a BMS and inverter system with drive for an electric motorbike (conversion from a combustion engine into an electric drive).

Project requirements (main steps): -

Selection of suitable components for the conversion

- Design of a suitable arrangement of motor, inverter, BMS, battery, and control.

- Implementation and testing of all components testing together with me, special permission must be sought by the University, if you have a unrestricted motorbike license and you want to test the bike as well) (It will be not permitted for any person to test the motorbike alone. A minimum of 3 people have to be present at all times during this stage).

Outcomes: - Electric motorbike, which can be ridden Metal and some mechanical work will be required to a certain extend, but, depending on the nature, will be assisted by the workshop at times. some programming skills in simulation, python etc. in regards to the interter, battery management etc.
