Historical research project in Thailand looking for London-based researcher to in-charge with searching tasks for archive document in 3 major places: UK’s National Archives, UK’s National Maritime Museum, and UK’s Natural History Museum.
The research subject is about a Thai (Siamese) royal-family member who went for navy study in UK during1893 to 1900, and back to UK again during 1919 to 1920 for navy business. He also interested in natural history and provided some specimens to UK’s Natural History Museum in 1919. More detailed background information will be provided including specific interested topic, related month and year of each event, and some exactly date.
Expected results are founding of related archive documents such as news or records, plus 3 full-day work together with research team at each place – as team member including me will travel to London to join searching at approximately end of Feb.
