Have AutoCad 2014
Zero degrees is 12 o’clock
Lines of drawing are completed – Graphics have a series of two lines that have common end points with 60, 90 and 108 degree angles. Some graphics have a series of straight lines that do not connect to one another.
Center point is selected.
When enter button is pressed for Add-On.
1. Add-on starts a sweep in a counter clockwise manner and begins calculating at the first endpoint of a single line or paired lines.
2. Add-On continues calculating values on the same line from end point to end point.
3. Lines starting at center point are generated to the end and mid points of all lines of drawing
4. Software calculates the phase or degrees to five decimal points of intersection points where center point lines intersect the end and mid-points lines in drawing.
5. Software calculates diameters of circles to five decimal points of circles created from lines starting at center point and the end point of the line from the center point to the endpoints and mid-points of the drawing lines.
6. Numbers related to degrees and diameters are transferred to columns in an Excel file.
7. The values of paired lines with the same end point will have the same end point and only appear once in the Excel file. Paired lines will have five sets of values and single straight lines will have three sets of values.
8. Numbers are placed into columns according the color of the lines.
9. In row one is color of number assigned by Auto-Cad program and columns are created according the Auto-Cad color spectrum.
10. In row two are titles Phase (degree on circle) in column one and Amp (diameter) in column two
11. One column separates each line color.
The sample Auto-Cad dwg has 90 degrees at 12 o’clock and the degrees are mostly likely rounded off. Add on needs to calculate the precise degree and diameter to five decimal points with zero degrees at 12 o’clock.
Lines from the center point and the diameter circles in the Auto-Cad dwg are not saved but only used for generating values for transfer to the Excel file.
