** If you intend to hire me via the hire me button please actually tell me what you want done. I'm getting "hired" projects on a daily basis with descriptions like "make me app". ** I currently mainly develop medium size Android apps for example; small games, live wallpapers, remote control applications for embedded systems, customer loyalty apps, small social networking apps. I can also handle writing native C code with the NDK for performance critical stuff and porting existing libraries to Android. Aside from Android, I specialise in embedded Linux and micro controller applications.. I have a range of Linux machines on hand including at least three different ARM versions and two SuperH versions. I maintain my own kernel port for one of the ARM machines and one of the SuperH machines. For micro controller projects I have literally piles of micro controller dev kits and debuggers. ARM variants, mc68000, Z80, RX, SH, R8C, MSP430.. I also have experience with Xilinx CPLD and FPGAs (VHDL). I'm also experienced Linux system admin. I specialise in Debian but have no problems working with Ubuntu, RHEL, Fedora etc. Note for potential new clients: I have no problem working with clients that have no feedback here but please understand that you will need to create a milestone before any work can happen. I will not request release of the milestone until you are happy with the progress being made. I have wasted lots of time with people that don't know what they want or can't give me the resources I need. The milestone is basically to reassure me that I'm not going to be wasting my time working on your project. Note: I'm originally from the UK and I am a native English speaker. I have valid residency status in Japan and I am registered as self-employed in Japan. Onsite jobs within Japan are not a problem. English or Japanese are fine!
