Scope includes importing an SQL data file into an existing Access database and modifying sub-forms to "lock" formatting and create sorts. Database is for a local non-profit senior services group to replace an older SQL-based program.

## Deliverables

**SQL Data Import**

Import SQL database file to tblClient and tblClientGiving tables to replace the current data records. Tables are linked and records from the tbleClientGiving should link to the corresponding tblClient record.

Populate Newsletter field as Yes or No based on fields "N" and "N&T" with either having a value greater than zero. If greater than zero, then Newsletter field value equals "Yes." If values equal zero, then Newsletter field value equals "No.

**Form Maintenance**

All records in the subform data tables must sort newest to oldest.

1. Giving tab sorts most current giving date to oldest descending.

2. Volunteer tab sorts by Year Ended highest/latest year to oldest year (ex. 2012, 2011, and 2010 descending).

3. Programs tab sorts latest semester to oldest descending.

4. Services tab sorts by service date descending.

5. Solicitiation tab sorts giving date made descending most recent to oldest.

All records when added need to go to the top in the subform table and then resort according to sort order above when the Client form is re-opened.

Reset the column widths, column order, and sorting order in each subform table when the Client form is re-opened to the current settings (current column widths, current column order and sorting order defined above).

Hide record number and filter search on each of the subform tables.

This is part one of this database project. Part 2 includes creating a report form with combo boxes and input fields from queries to generate reports. Code would need to be flexible enough to allow creation of additional reports as needed. Additional scope includes creating admin and user versions where user version would be restricted from deleting records, viewing design mode, etc. Scope would be fully detailed upon completion of this part of the project.
