We would like to try using a contractor for following up on our sales renewals. We sell software that renews every year, so we would like to assign a bulk of customers about 20 who you would be responsible reaching out to, corresponding and ensuring timely delivery of purchase order or payment.
You will use [url removed, login to view] and be assigned opportunities that are annual license renewals for which you will track through to closure. This includes establishing contact with the customer and receiving notification of purchase order, and a timeline for when we should expect that purchase order. Then you will follow up to make sure it is delivered to our sales organization. This project is spread over a 2 month period and will likely require you exert more time for the initial emails and small burst of time as customers respond or as you decide to follow up for a status on the purchase order. This initial project is for 15 opportunities that we will assign to you. If this project is successful we are looking to continue this project with new opportunities (15-20 being added each quarter). From a time investment standpoint, most of the emails are already created as templates. We estimate that over the two month period each customer would probably consume an hour of total work on average, so this is a perfect gig for an individual who is working on multiple projects and wants to squeeze this one in to make some extra money.
There is also a small bit of reading up front to familiarize yourself with how we sell and license our software.
