[url removed, login to view] is currently the best open-source Git web UI available. Unfortunately, it is currently only supported on linux - no luck to the unenlightened or constrained IT folk.

All of its dependencies, however, run on windows - meaning a port should be possible, if challenging.
My goal for this series of projects is as follows:
A. Get GitLab running on Windows Server 2008 R2 or Server 2012. ([url removed, login to view] may be useful here for the first few tries)
B. Fully document all required steps and code changes.
C. Write installer, in any open-source language of your choice.
D. Develop upgrade system for new releases, write documentation, submit pull requests for changes.
For THIS project, I just need to accomplish (or discover the actual impossibility) of A and B.
You MUST have a background in both *nix and windows administration, as well as basic skills with Ruby and Python.
