Looking for sombody who could setup a pilot site/proof of concept on the windows azure virtual machine. Install SharePoint 2013. And make the website available as a public facing site.

The candidate should analyse the requirements we have, and propose the best aproach we can take to get to the goal.

You can use platform images that are available in Windows Azure to create virtual machines you can upload your own SharePoint 2013 or install SP2013 on the virtual machine.

Consider the following:

A VHD can be in either a fixed format or a dynamic format, but only the fixed format of VHD files is supported in Windows Azure Virtual Machines

A SharePoint image is a VHD file that customers can use as a template to create a new Virtual Machine. Customers can use images from the Image Gallery to create virtual machines or they can create their own images.

Customer can use disks in different ways with a Virtual Machine in Windows Azure. An operating system disk is a VHD that customers can use to provide an operating system for a SharePoint Virtual machine.
