Project Description

I need a simple SMTP relay Server (Windows) that listens on a selectable port (default 25) and if a mail comes in, it directly relays it to the receiver. Without the need to connect to another external SMTP server.

By default it should only allow connections from the machine it is running on... but with the option to add other machines/IPs to allow relaying mails for.

Needs to run stand alone or as a service. No dependencies.... no external dlls, no .net, no DB..... a single exe file that just works. Configuration settings should be stored in a plain text file, if messages need to be queued, storage should be in a simple folder.

The Service needs to recognize the original location as the start dir, so that no absolute path settings are necessary for the config file or mail queue in service mode (for portability).

DNS server should be autodetected by default but with the option to specify others.

I need to be able to run/stop standalone and install/delete service via command line.

Icon in systemtray should be visible if program/server is running with indicator for activity.

Optional logging to plain text file would be good, too.

Payment is done upon completition. I'm sick of being ripped off! Communication should be frequent via Skype/mail.
