matlab-thresholding images

Create the function my_simple_thresh.m which takes as arguments the image I

and the threshold T and outputs the binary image thresholded(white brain and rest of it black) Apply appropriate

threshold so as to extract the brain and the skull.

Implement the function my_var_thresh.m which takes as arguments the image I and

threshold T and outputs the binary image again thresholded..(must use otsu method here)

Implement the function my_entropy_thresh.m which takes as arguments the image I

and the threshold T and outputs the binary image thresholded(must use Kapur method here)

I give 2 m-files which are the functions(you have to create the first one,but it's easy) and are incomplete..you have to fill the gaps of the given code..no need to it from the beginning..also the image you need is included..we must call the functions from matlab command window and see the results

1)Implement the function my_prewitt.m which takes as arguments the image I and the percentage of pixels ''percent'' which will be used for thresholding and with using prewitt maks will export the image with the scanned edges. What price of percentage detects better the edges of skull and brain?

2)Implement the function my_sobel.m and do exactly what it asks above(it's almost exactly the same function..it needs only to change masks)

3)Perform edge detection with Sobel mask in case of normalized diagram in image. What is happening?

below the questions is almost answered my they need a little more work(figure 1 shown in pdf)

4)With help of the function bwboundaries extract the contour of the skull and the capture as shown in Figure 1.

5)Calculate the width and length of the skull and the capture as shown in Figure 1.
