Project Description

We are looking at implementing a HTML 5 template/system for enabling 1:1 and multiple user communications via WebRTC. The template/system needs to have a backend to setup video res for the clients, channel names, manage invites, etc. The system also needs the ability to go full-screen with only the remote camera in the view for some uses but not all. We've already worked out a few tests in both Chrome and Firefox using

Finally, there needs to be a solid tool-set for the users connecting/disconnecting, muting, volume, etc.. We can build into other features as we progress. We would eventually like to add txt chat functionality, file transfers, and a few other features built into a easy to customize template. Security minded programming please!

As with all of our projects we pay fair and reasonable rates according to ability but we do require all code for this project to be released as open-source and posted to the developers repo of choice (svn, git, google code, etc..) while being somewhat maintained for the completion of this project. We are essentially paying for a new open source project and are hoping to find a good lead programmer that already has enough interest in WebRTC to maintain it.

We're looking for a similar setup to: [url removed, login to view] but it needs to be open-source and available to be quickly customized and deployed with the mentioned tool-sets on just about any device. We're thinking hardware like the Raspberry-pi's should be able to run the transport for WebRTC. This can't be too much work could it? :p
