Project Description

We need an intermediate Java/J2EE programmer with sufficient experience in JSF and IceFaces to help with restructuring the code of an existing web application in order to meet the technical requirements of the client, as it was developed with a structure different to what the client requires.

Our senior J2EE developer will give you a document with an overview of the project's architecture and set of detailed instructions on what needs to be done code-wise. We're experienced developers ourselves but need to outsource this particular task as we need an extra pair of hands to get this done quickly.

We're looking for someone who is:

- Experienced with Java/J2EE and JSF/IceFacess web application development (3+ years)

- Accurate and smart

- Responsible in meeting deadlines and getting work done according to the specifications

- Follows instructions to the letter

- A good communicator

- Has a good level of English

This phase of the project will require approximately 30 hours, so please bid for 30 hours of work times your standard hourly rate. Work should be completed within 3-4 weeks.

So we can discard copy/paste bids, please START YOUR BID with the phrase "My bid for 30 hours of work is $X", where X is your bid for this amount of time, and describe in your bid what kind of experience you have with J2EE web application development using JSF and/or IceFaces.

We'll release milestones on a weekly basis as work is done and progress is demonstrated and sent to us. We'll deposit a first milestone of 50% of your bid so you can know we're serious, but no upfront payment released until work is done.

This project may be followed by additional work hours required to add new functionality to this web application and fix current bugs.
