I have created a prototype device that uses a Raspberry Pi and other off the shelf components, I need the software written that will control it. The project breaks down into 3 major parts.

1) Software architecture that sits on the device and is used to run the main device features. For example, the OS, music streaming software (such as MPD), script to enable simple first time setup.

2) A software API that resides on the device that is used to control its functions.

3) Web registration that provides a central server where user accounts can be created a devices registered that enable the device API to be accessed remotely, when away from the devices local network.

The attached software architecture doc should give me more details about what is planned. It also describes the App and provides a link to the App prototype, although the App is not part of the this project.

The project will start mid-December and need to be completed within 6 weeks. You will need to have a Prototype of the hardware device to test with, I can either send you one or provide a list of components and you source this yourself. The cost can be added as an expense to the project.
