I need a temp mail service for software testing but i really dont want to spend the prices from [url removed, login to view] because i think with nodejs we can make something comparable and host it ourselves. We do a lot of load and system testing so we need to be able to spawn new emails once they are emailed to.. this is the good thing about mailinator unlike other systems you dont need to setup the alias in advance, it is made when a mail comes to the system.
we can use mongodb for the database and store all the emails. I dont really have a reason to need them to purge right now since this is just internal. we can use node and some mail plugins to handle the actual mail. I suppose all we need to do is point mx records to the app/ip there for a few domains and then it can handle the rest. there are some node plugins that might be a good fit like
[url removed, login to view] - recieve
[url removed, login to view] - parse
Looking for this to be quick and easy. I have a bootstrap template we can use for the front-end markup so it looks good and you can focus just on the actual core system/service.

so what you want is a service that creates inbox if an email is received the first time? and no purge afterward? I don't quite get why this is useful for your load testing. regards, michael
