We need a programmer for Unity3D project but struggle to find decent one so trying to make this contest to find someone for a long term contract for [url removed, login to view]
In this task we need Unity based map editor and object's editor.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION IS IN THE PDF FILE ATTACHED!
Different "tab" for objects and "tab" for maps. Design is up to you (it doesnt not have to be something special, just nice lookig and clean). Objects are added with the help of set of text input fields and object skins are taken from some folder on server specified in object details.
Map to be generated from small hegaxons into big hegaxon or triangle. The constructor needs to be schematic as the game engine will cover tiles with proper textures (so you can just draw green hexagons yourself). Hexagons to be indexed and index of each one to be turned off/on with a checkboxx in the UI.
Objects are to be drag and dropped to map. If map is set to be generated randomly, then user has to specifify range (min-max) for every object type (default 0).
Object settings and maps (with tile-to-object-relations) to be saved into PostgresSQL in some maximum short length in a single string (except for the name) and to be read from this string with the "open map" function.
It doesnt seem a complicated task - more detailed description in .PDF attached, the idea of game view can be found [url removed, login to view] the general schema (without tabs that you have to add on top) is in .PDF or cards_field_editor.png.
P.S. Objects to be related with an "ability editor" next order and such possibility has to be included.
Canvas size optimized for 700px width, but scalabe the way that UI and tile size remains the same (for bigger screens more tiles are visible without scrolling)
GOOD DOCUMENTATION IN ENGLISH IS REQUIRED AT HANDOVER.
If you make this task well, you will get additional similar small tasks or the whole project. If you dont want anything extra - just making this editor will be good.
Please write in comments if you are working on it so we dont close ontest or award someone before all the participants made it.
