Back up outlook:
Have a Button or add in - in my outlook (2007) to back up E-mail to Access database.
VB2010 program with Access 97-2003) (Can run from outlook or VB 2010)
Export all pst files (Personal Folders, Archive, and so on, folders and E-Mails to an Access database (97-2003) just like the
Export To A File wizard Does except the compete outlook program.
The database name is "C:\Outlook\OutlookBU.Mdb."
If the file is not created,create it there.
These are the fields in each folders
Subject, Body, FromName, FromAddress, ToName, ToAddress, CCName, CCAddress, BCCName, BCCAddress
When the program is started, it will walk thru eachost file, and filder, and copy each e-mail message to the database.
If the e-mail already exists, do not copy it again.
Source code must be descriptive
