Python code for DDoS detection/Filtering

I want to setup a simple network using Mininet to create network of 1 switch, 3 hosts and controller (Called POX (Python based)) see the link below:

and look for the POX section.

So,I need a python script that will detect/filter DDoS atttack if its generated from host1, and use the results to create a a graphs before and and after the attack.

I've got few scripts that might help, just need some modification and because my knowledge in python very limited, I'm unable to do it.
