Project Description

We are looking for a freelance programmer to write a PLC program for operating car wash equipment. The pogramming includes about 15 input devices and as many as 80 output devices. All programmed based on a pulse sensor that creates a series of events in the tunnel car wash as a car travels through.
We are looking to copy / duplicate and existing program without infringing on copyright laws. The system incorporates a 15" touch screen user interface with graphics and buttons and such.
It has specific programing for certain items in the car wash, like entry systems, speakers that play, tire shine controls, garage doors, etc.
We can provide you with the code of the existing program we are looking to copy but we also need to protect ourselves from infringing on copyright laws.
We can also send you to a car wash which has the existing program to see it, and operate the system. It also uses a schneider elecric web interface to access and control the program remotely.
Initial project will be development, however we will occasionally be interested in hiring you ongoing for updates and tweaks. At the same time as we re-write this program we do want to make some improvements and enhancements. Maybe more reporting features and stuff like that.
I honestly don't know much about the programming language. It will incorpoorate Square D hardware / Sneider electric. and Telemechanique components. These systems includ low voltage 110v outputs and also 480v motor starters and variable frequency drives which are also controlled in the program.
