I'm trying to get Apache httpd to route to my Tomcat site but pick the right SSL certificate, based on the domain of entry, i.e. [url removed, login to view] or xyz.net.
The [url removed, login to view] and SSL Certificate for it is linked to a Tomcat instance via ProxyBalancer. All works like a charm.
I recently purchased the xyz.net. So I bought a new SSL certificate for it. Wasn't sure how to configure it. So ended up adding a new virtual host section with same entries as for [url removed, login to view] but with the SSLCertificateFile pointing to new certificate. I'm trying to avoid duplication of the entire site just cause of the new certificate. Any way to direct SSL 443 traffic to this VirtualHost if domain of entry is [url removed, login to view]
I configured the 2nd VirtualHost section with ServerName set to [url removed, login to view], but Apache only sees the SSL certificate for [url removed, login to view] . Need help fast.

Hi, PerlIsFun give you the answer. To use 2+ certificats you have to use a different ip or a different port, you can manage it with your loadbalancer. Any way I can help you.
What you are trying to d is not possible with a single IP address. Some newer browsers support a TLS connection which sends the encrypted hostname, but older browsers do not support this.
