We are in desperate need of some system admin expertise to complete a server migration. The programmer who was doing the migration disappeared after the migration was half complete.
I am not a programmer so please excuse my lack of knowledge, I'll do the best I can to explain what we need:
We are migrating from a dedicated FreeBSD server where all clients were sharing the same space to a hypervisor environment (using Proxmox as the CP) running a dedicated box with several VMs running on that box. The new server is running Debian, ISPConfig and Zimbra for mail. The previous programmer set things up in such a way that the DNS is pointing to the old FreeBSD server which is somehow relaying the DNS information to the new server. So, we have some sites running on the old server and some on the new. We need to finish the migration of those sites and also migrate a wild card SSL cert, and get the DNS (BIND) migrated so that I can control things with ISPConfig on the new server. Right now I can create new domains with ISPConfig but have to rely on someone to go "flip some switch" on the old server to "bounce" the DNS to the new server. We also have some databases and other items that need to be moved but we may have some others that can do that. What we lack is a system admin specialist. Looking for an ongoing relationship with a reliable, honest, hard working person who is willing to work on this project and possibly others in the future.
