Summary : installing the Canvas LMS on the latest version of Ubuntu LTS on EC2.
1- There will be no partial payments, when the project is accepted I will put one milestone with the whole money agreed upon. So it's either done or not done deal.
2- You need to install the Canvas LMS as described here : [url removed, login to view]
- On latest Ubuntu LTS.
- Postgres DB
- Apache, Passenger
- Redis caching
and all other things mentioned in that page.
3- I downloaded a version of the canvas-lms about a month a go from here : [url removed, login to view]
you need to use the version I downloaded because I have changed the styling to be RTL
4- I will use the Arabic translation found here : [url removed, login to view]
I tried it using the Quick Start installation, it's working but have some issues, which you will need to fix if it appears.
The issue is that sometimes it say that the translation is missing despite the fact that it's there in the translation file.
5- You need to give me a suggestion about the description of the EC2 knowing that the app will be used by a school with about 1500 students and about 160 teachers.
6- You need to record the whole process as a screencast.
My understanding is that you will need to create an EC2 instance and do the whole work on it, then, if every thing is OK, you create an image from it and share it with me. If it's otherwise, tell me how.
