Migration partially complete. Current condition is that users are not showing up on the small business console. Get users to show up on the small business console correctly and complete the migration. Needs to be complete in the next 4 hours.

SBS 2011 Migration and Upgrade Steps

-Created VM backup of existing physical SBS 2003 server

-Pushed backup of 2003 server to veeam for secure backup

-Uploaded sbs2011 iso to VMFS

-Ran migration prep tool to elevate domain forest to 2003

-Created Answer File and created 3 backups to different locations

-Verified MD5 and SHA1 hashes of answer file to verify integrity

-Verified MD5 and SHA1 hashes of 2011 iso to verify integrity

-Removed SBS 2003 VM due to storage limitations(backup on veeam is still available)

-Created new VM for SBS 2011

Settings: 320GB HDD, 4GB Ram, 1 Proc w/ 2 cores, named [url removed, login to view]

-Used veeam VM to create an 8GB vmdk and formatted with the name "VIRTUAL_THUMB_DRIVE"

-Initialized and formatted drive

-Pushed answer file to disk

-Disconnected disk and attached to new 2011 VM

-Chose custom install and chose to format 320GB drive only

-Chose server migration after install

-Shift-F10 to open command prompt
