Looking for a skilled Microsoft 2012, 2008R2, 2008 Server expert to assist with fine tuning a RemoteApp deployment. Enterprise is already configured using best practices and ready for co-location. However, there are some fine points related to DFS, GPO and TS Gateway that need to be addressed. The typical MS Mystery Bugs are simply wasting too much of our time chasing dead ends and resolutions that don't work. GPO Lock Down Settings that should work, but don't. 80% of the Terminal Servers work correctly, but 20% do not, yet all are identical and have the exact same configuration. Most of the topics are the typical situations where things were working perfectly, then something happens and they stop. Something like applying that latest updates or a reboot for example. Most of the resolutions are probably related to GPO and OU configuration. Or better yet, our lack of extreme experience with this specific technology. Our Lead IT consultant became terminally ill and can no longer be part of this project. Fortunately, everything has been documented, but unfortunately, we put some things on the back burner to learn and understand, which are now driving us crazy. We have good experience, but not the experience required for the final deployment and fine tuning. We are the developers of the RemoteApp. Additionally, this project has potential long term opportunities for regular monthly billing, should we find the correct resource to be part of the team.
