Project Description

Looking for a skilled Microsoft 2012 server expert to remotely setup a correct and robust Windows Server 2012 based RemoteApp environment. Project needs to be completed by 7 Dec 2012.

The servers will reside at a remote co-lo site and be grouped on a separate backend VLAN. (Dual NIC’ed in other words, an internet facing IP and a non-routable VLAN IP. There is also a separate internet facing administration IP available.)

When the user logs in (as a member of a specific group), they need to get the RemoteApp and access to a specific drive mapped shared file storage location. This storage location is group specific.

The users are not allowed to upload or download files, print or use a local/remote shared clipboard.

The .rdp file to email to users must be created.

End users may be using Windows XP through Windows 8.

All users will be added manually.

Enable Web Access functionality.

Aside from the basic Windows 2012 server installation, you must provide the information about the necessary needed CAL’s and RDS CAL’s.

Both the physical servers and the various services running on each server must be complete and provably secure. (Using something like Best Practices Analyzer.)

At this time, there is only one RemoteApp, that may change in the future; so that eventuality must be included in the plan. Also plan for the eventuality to increase the number of RemoteApp servers to serve a larger userbase or multiple groups; if that makes more sense.

To allow us to determine your knowledge, in your reply include a basic layout of the servers, drives and services to be run on each server.

If you reply with a “call me”, don’t expect to get a call unless you have also sent along your basic layout.

If you want to talk to me to get my “requirements” so that you can pass it along to someone else, read what I wrote above.
