Project Description

We are a boating magazine situated in the Southern hemisphere and are seeking ongoing contributors to our magazine. As a bi-monthly publication aimed at yachting enthusiasts and members of the yachting fraternity, we require a writer who can write in an informative yet relaxed manner that will appeal to our readers. We require writers to cover international yachting and boating events for publication within our magazine. A technical and working knowledge of sailing is required in order to meet the needs of our knowledgeable readers. Additionally we require writers who are able to contribute travel articles from a traveller's perspective. All articles are to be from a hands-on approach and not from an academic standpoint, which requires the need for actual experience and knowledge in the fields. Articles need to be in-depth and provide the reader with solid information not merely an overview. Our readers are from a higher financial socio-economic group and therefore style needs to be intelligent yet relaxed. Article content should be aimed at this level of individual. Technical knowledge of the yachting and sailing industry is required in order to be able to cover events fully. As this is an ongoing requirement this assignment may be open to numerous writers. Payment for articles is on a per word basis and can be in the range of US$[url removed, login to view] to US$[url removed, login to view] depending upon the experience of the writer.
