Linux/Minecraft expert to Install / configure / update MineCraft on my Linux Ubuntu server, add Maps&Mods

Experienced desired: Advanced / Expert Sys Admin of MineCraft on Linux needed to: * Server will be Linux and configured / maintained by you ( [login to view URL] ) * You will need your own Minecraft account to test the server * You will test via a Minecraft on you computer * I will configure all other MineCraft clients (Running on Windows 7) Please let me know your experience with MineCraft & Linux. Work to be done: Document proposed server plan (1 page or less) -- I will review & approve be the rest of the work starts Server plan should include: Install MineCraft server (recommend version) onto my Ubuntu Linux [login to view URL] server (I will provide root login information) Enable Whitelisting Whitelist your test MineCraft player Whitelist 3 MineCraft players (I will provide) Document work done so far (1 page of less) The "vision for the server plan" is: * Make a fun server with LOTS of Maps and Worlds appropriate for 8 to 12 year olds * Install Mods to make the server more fun for 8 to 12 year olds (no need to install anti-griefing) * My Little Pony themes are a plus * Pony themes are a plus * My Little Brony themes are a plus * Fun games are a plus * Make it cool , make it look great is a plus * Ensure it works with any MineCraft client whose version matches your server version * Keep it all kid / family appropriate (rated PG, zero R-rated stuff etc. ....)
