Project Description

We have an online furniture retail store in Ireland and UK and there is an online help instant messenger program where customers can click to ask questions from a LIVE person. Our office covers the hours from 9am to 5pm GMT but we would like someone to provide additional support for roll over calls, administration and sales.

The customer that asks questions would like quality help where questions are answered correctly and with professionalism. This is a SALES task and the customer is judging the company by the speed of the response as well as the quality. The answers must be in perfect FULL UK English and worded in a friendly and helpful manner.

Where an answer is not known I am happy for the freelancer to ask for a email or tel number and say that they will receive a reply in the morning.

The instant messenger software will automatically send a full transcript of the chat to an operator within our company. And we can take it from there.

Knowledge is an important aspect of this work and this is gathered as weeks and months pass, so i would like there to be a small group or an individual working on this project where they can learn about our company in detail and be in a position to better answer the queries.

The instant messaging software can be linked to the following:

MSN Messanger

Google Talk

Pigeon Messenger

And many others.

Many freelancers just send a offer without even reading this specification so if you are replying please use the word "CatNip" in the message so i know you have actually read this.

Perfect english = essential.

Proven history = essential.
