English to Japanese translation
- Status Completed

This is actually a list with 77 entries. It contains short sentences and a few single words. While it is not difficult, it does include some grammatical terminology. You will have to describe such terms as "subordinate clause", "parallel structure", "correlative conjunction".
This translation is being done for a book to help Japanese students in an advanced grammar class (preparing to take the TOEFL exam). Here's a sample item:
"A complex sentence must have at least two clauses, a main clause and a subordinate clause. A main clause has a subject and a verb and functions independently as a sentence. A subordinate clause has a subject and verb but does not function independently..."
Again, please be sure you can accurately describe these grammatical terms.
I will be changing a document that has Korean translations throughout--the Korean will be changed to Japanese.
I include a list of translations with page numbers that correspond to the document.
You should make sure your translations make good sense within the context of this document.
I'll send the complete document to bidders that I am interested in hiring.
The list of articles to translate is fairly short. 5 pages, aprox. 1,625 words.
Please ask me if clarification on any item is needed.
Also, I would like to give credit to the translator. When published, I'll include "Japanese translation by NAME". You are welcome to use this reference in your portfolio (and it will be a book that's viewable in [url removed, login to view]).Get free quotes for a project like this
