Project Description

We have an existing website in English and need a complete duplicate of the website in Portuguese. This will be a new website specifically targeting the Portuguese market with a new product that is likely to be very successful, based on our recent experiences in the French market.

This is a project for a native Portuguese person - only people actually resident in Portugal and with a demonstrable track record of translation work will be considered.

Please show that you have some understanding of meta tags and keywords.

The English version of the website is here: [url removed, login to view]

Translation will cover all of the product pages, privacy policy, delivery, customer reviews etc. you will also need to review the new site and provide translation for assorted graphical items such as "add to cart" and "pay now" buttons.

A track record of website translation will be a benefit.

Please quote for 5,000 words of translation - you will be required to keep track of the number of words translated and will be paid pro-rata.

Further Work

Once the site is launched we will have a potential requirement for some administrative/sales support in Portugal - dealing with telephone and email enquiries in Portuguese. This would require good telephone and interpersonal skills and preferably some sales expertise. This is not part of the current project and will be posted separately. However, if this ongoing role could be of interest, please state this with your bid and outline why you would be a good candidate for this role. If you are not interested in this ongoing task, please simply ignore this part of the project description.
