I will provide scanned images of a 90 page Thai language book for this job. I have uploaded three scanned images of 5 pages from this book as examples to show the freelancer what the original text looks like. Tasks: 1. The freelancer will transcribe the text and create an electronic document with all the text from the books. This task requires good Thai typing skill. 2. The freelancer will then translate the Thai book into English (UK). The product will be an electronic document in English language. This task requires good Thai-English translation skill and good English typing skill. Two end products: 1. an electronic document transcription of the Thai book in Thai language. 2. an electronic document translation from Thai to English(UK) in English language. These two electronic documents may be formatted in Microsoft Word (*.docx) or OpenDocument (*.odf). The author of the original Thai language book is my good friend - Siwanpanroy Wayupak. I would ask the Freelancer to contact the author directly to obtain a paper copy of the original book and some advice on translation into English. My role is to edit the English translation of the book and give it to my friend, the author, who will arrange publication and distribution herself. I can read Thai but cannot spell or write Thai very well.
