Project Description

One male, one female voice artist required to mimic British Royal family members: Philip, Charles, William, Harry; & Queen, Camilla, Kate. Must be fluent in Welsh & English, preferably speaking Welsh as a first language. Preference would be given to native accent from North West Wales.

We would prefer a single quote from a male/female team who can cover all the above.

To record a number of short phrases (each just a few seconds long) as discrete OGG files (mono; 44100Hz; 16-bit PCM). Request you use audacity to perform recording. Levels should be normalised by using the default Effect--> Amplify on audacity. Must be recorded on a reasonable quality microphone with no discernable background noise, in a neutral environment (e.g. if recording at home a lounge with carpet & soft furnishing is a better location than a kitchen with a tiled floor).

The impression/mimic of the characters to be sympathetic (we want to laugh "with" rather than "at" them).

The exact number of discrete phrases to be recorded is yet to be finalised, but will probably total between 300 & 400 across all the characters. Phrases will be delivered as scripts in text files; where each phrase will be identified by character, required file name, required phrase. Welsh phrases will be scripted in English & will require translation to "natural" spoken Welsh.

Scripts will be delivered approx end May / early June 2013, and will require to be turned round within one week.

Please quote on the assumption of 300 discrete phrases - if this is exceeded we will addjust payment pro rata.
